Do dogs have the ability to love? Does that emotion exist in the canine world? If a dog is capable of loving, just as us, then how do you figure out what your dog really loves you? Surely, your dog cannot speak and you will have to understand or interpret its love from its gestures. But then gestures can be confusing. Dogs don’t have hundreds of gestures. They are likely to have just a few emotions and a handful of gestures which they would repeat for similar and at times different circumstances. How is it then that you can figure out if your dog truly loves you?
- Does your dog enjoy running around with you, simply lying down next to you or sitting beside you? Dogs that truly love someone will always want to spend more time with them. And it doesn’t matter what they do as long as they do it together or are just around one another. Dogs don’t like to be around people whom they don’t like. You will notice that dogs don’t behave in the same manner with everyone. They are going to be particularly interested to be around someone or a few members of the family. It is obvious that the dog loves these people more.
- Would your dog be just next to you at the dumbest, idlest and inactive or unexciting times of the day? Most dogs want to be consistently engaged with something, which could be a menace like chewing off stuff to running around the house. But no matter how active a dog is, it would want to just sit idly by the person it loves and do nothing. It can dose off, watch television, listen to boring conversations and even sit still without blinking. Such instances are proof enough that your dog loves you
